Based in Paris, Hanna Moukanas is a partner and chair at Oliver Wyman in France.

Hanna has been a consultant for more than 35 years, working with boards, CEOs, and senior leadership teams to conduct complex strategic and organizational transformations around the world, as well as leveraging strategic thought leadership and best practices across industries to drive impact.

Serving clients across industries including Automotive, Industrials, Consumer and Retail, he specializes in strategy development, governance and organizational effectiveness, performance transformation, post-merger integration, and change management.

Beginning his career as an engineer in the Middle East, Hanna moved to Europe 1986 and later became one of the four founding partners of MID, a French strategy consulting firm acquired by Oliver Wyman in 1995. In 2000, while based in Boston, he was the leader of the firm’s Strategy Consulting Practice. From 2003, in Paris, he led the global Industry Practice and served as the market leader in Oliver Wyman’s France and Belgium office for several years.

Hanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut, and an MBA from INSEAD. He is fluent in French, English, and Arabic, and holds dual French and Lebanese citizenship.
